Low Volume Stash

This post is part of an ongoing series of posts where I document my fabric stash purchases.
This year I am trying to keep track of my fabric intake in order to see how much I consume.  I'm not going to keep track of how much I spend, though, because then I might cry.

I can't resist a great low volume bundle.
After making my bed quilt I've fallen hard for the quietness of low volume prints.
I don't know what it is about them that I love so much but they make me very happy.

Here is a little bundle I purchased awhile back from Amanda at Westwood Acres.  I should really stop subscribing to her flickr and IG feeds because I get hooked on her pretty stash building bundles every time.  I'm trying to be good... but this time resistance was futile.

I like buying these type of bundles because they always include things I wouldn't normally pick out on my own, like those kites and little houses.  But my favorite pieces of the bunch are probably the chicken wire and the sewing pins.  Love them!!

One of the things I like about Amanda's shop is her stash builder bundles.  I am not a single designer kinda girl so I like buying her hand-picked mix and match bundles. It's a great way to add variety without having to search out different fabrics for yourself.  Right now I have my eye on this lovely navy bundle! Ooo, la, la!  I'm pretty sure I have only 1 navy blue print in my stash right now so this would be a great addition.  Just remember that her bundles change regularly so keep your eyes open for one you might like.

**For the record, I have not been compensated in any way for this post.
The opinion expressed is mine and mine alone. Just sayin' :)**
